Energy: the elixir of life and the key to a sustainable future

Lately, energy has become a topic, especially green energy. “Energy” is a powerful word, it is an essential resource for life, it is that magnitude that allows things to move.

The use of energy has been fundamental to the development of human civilisation. Throughout history, societies have used different sources of energy, such as wood, coal, oil and natural gas.

Today, there is growing concern about the environmental impact of the use of traditional energy sources. These sources generate greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to climate change. This is why the development and use of renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy and hydropower are on the agenda of countries around the world.

Green hydrogen to alleviate the ecological footprint

Talk of “green energy” seems to take for granted that there is hope for a cleaner and more sustainable planet. That is why, on World Energy Day, we do not just celebrate it for the sake of celebration or to feed the ego by writing about the things we do to save the planet, but to put on record the hard work of research and production, which is being done from Aragon, with the use of green hydrogen, a clean and sustainable energy alternative that plays a key role in the fight against climate change and that helps us to gradually release the weight of the ecological footprint.

The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa) is one of the entities leading the research and development of green hydrogen in the region. The FHa has launched several projects in collaboration with companies and institutions that walk on the same path to live with cleaner energy.

Green hydrogen has great potential to generate employment and wealth in Aragon, as well as to contribute to the decarbonisation of the economy.

On World Energy Day, Aragon Hydrogen Foundation is committed to the development of green hydrogen as a commitment to a more sustainable future.
