We successfully held the general assembly of the OPTHYCS project

Aragon Hydrogen Foundation successfully hosted the general assembly of the European OPTHYCS project, in which the consortium partners met to evaluate the progress and define the next stages. During the meeting, held at the Foundation’s facilities, a practical demonstration was carried out to show the progress made so far.

The partners: Enagás (project coordinator), FEBUS Optics, The European Gas Research Group (GERG), GRTgaz, Lumiker, and Tecnalia Research had the opportunity to present the latest developments of the work packages they lead, as well as to share new ideas for the dissemination and communication of the project. They also took a guided tour of the Foundation’s facilities, where they were able to learn first-hand about the different projects underway and the operation of the hydrogen plant located at the Foundation, within the Walqa Technology Park.

OPTHYCS: one more step towards safety in hydrogen applications

The OPTHYCS project, funded by the European Union, aims to develop a new sensor technology to increase safety in hydrogen applications. The demonstration at the General Assembly was an important milestone in the development of this technology, which promises to revolutionise the hydrogen sector.
