The IV edition of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation Awards already has winners

The IV edition of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation Awards already has winners. One more year, rewarding excellence in hydrogen research.

It is with great satisfaction that we celebrate a new edition of the awards that seek to promote high-level research in hydrogen technologies as an energy vector.

In this edition, as in previous editions, we invited authors of Doctoral Theses, Master’s Theses and Bachelor’s Theses from different universities to submit their research in the different categories.

Their invaluable participation, together with the support of our sponsors, makes these awards possible.

Redexis Foundation Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis

The Redexis Foundation, committed to social, cultural and environmental development, is proud to support this award. Its objective of promoting social welfare through the use of renewable energies and care for the environment is perfectly aligned with the mission of these awards. The Redexis Foundation, through its support for research in hydrogen technologies, contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) promoted by the United Nations.

The prize for the Best Doctoral Thesis, worth 2,000 €, goes to Rafael Ortiz Cebolla, for his work: “Analysis of the behaviour of hydrogen and storage system in compressed hydrogen storage systems for mobility applications. Summary of research activities at European Commission’s DG-Joint Research Centre experimental facility GasTeF”.

IDOM Award for the Best Master’s Degree Final Project

IDOM is a leading multinational company in the provision of professional consultancy, engineering and architectural services. One of its competitive advantages is the exceptional level of commitment it offers its clients, accompanying them in all phases of their projects.

The prize for the Best Master’s Thesis, worth €1,000, goes to Pablo Bañares Suescun, for his work: “Study of the combustion of methane-hydrogen mixtures in partial premix burners”.

ERCROS Award for the Best Final Degree Project

The prize for the Best Final Degree Project, worth 800 €, goes to Paula Isla García, for her work: “Electrolytic Green Hydrogen and its Use in Obtaining Renewable Ammonia”.

From Aragon Hydrogen Foundation we would like to express our gratitude to all those who participated in the IV Edition of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation Awards.

We are deeply grateful for the high quality of the candidatures presented in this edition, which demonstrates the great potential of hydrogen to contribute to a more sustainable future.
