SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES
OPTILYSER - Testing and validation of optimal electrolyzer dispatch software based on massive data processing for green hydrogen production in industrial applications. The main objective of the OPTILYSER project is to design and validate an optimal electrolysis dispatch software for green hydrogen production with price prediction and renewable resource considering three test benches with the most mature technologies in the state of the art at present (alkaline, PEM and AEM) and in grid-connected configurations and directly to renewables. For this purpose, in the first phase, the mathematical formulation of the model and the programming of the algorithm of the predictive modules of EERR and electricity prices will be developed. In the second phase, the model and the developed modules will be validated in laboratory test benches with different technologies and topologies. In the last phase, a market study accompanied by three use cases will be developed, where, for relevant green hydrogen demand situations, the added economic and environmental benefit of using an OPTILYSER-based energy dispatch and electrolyzer management strategy will be calculated. In addition, the results will be disseminated and publicized through visits to the test benches and a closing day on green hydrogen in industry.
The role of Fundación Hidrógeno Aragón in this project is the testing and validation of the model and modules developed in each test bed. In addition, as project coordinators, we will manage the planning, budget and deliverables of the project, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality of the project.
