Today, the dissemination event for the UpHyMob project was held at the Salesianos Zaragoza headquarters, where the results achieved since its inception in 2021 under the European Union’s Erasmus Plus program were presented. The main objective of UpHyMob is to enhance the skills of professionals in the field of hydrogen mobility by providing high-quality training for technicians and operators, thus facilitating the transition to a low-carbon economy.
David Jiménez, Coordinator of the Consulting Area at the Fundación Hidrógeno Aragón, opened the event by highlighting the importance of creating an educational and professional ecosystem around hydrogen. He also introduced the online training course, available in five languages, focused on the maintenance of hydrogen refueling stations and fuel cell vehicles, designed by European experts. Additionally, David had the opportunity to present the HyDUAR project, which explores dual applications of hydrogen for the civil and military sectors, coordinated by AERA – Aragón Aerospace and Defense Cluster and funded by the Aragonese Institute of Development.
The event concluded with a networking coffee, where attendees continued to exchange ideas on hydrogen-powered sustainable mobility and Aragón’s key role in this transition.
The UpHyMob project consortium is composed of Fundación Hidrógeno Aragón, PROMEA (Greece), Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa (Portugal), Innovela Sprl (Belgium), and Grupo San Valero (Spain), the host of the event.
