Aragon, protagonist in the European Hydrogen Week to be held in Brussels from 20 to 24 November. The Director General for Industrial Promotion and Innovation, Mar Paños, will visit the stand of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation at this event organised by Hydrogen Europe and the European Commission, which is key to establish alliances.
The Brussels Exhibition Centre will host from 20 to 24 November a new edition of the European Hydrogen Week, the main event related to this technology on the continent that will bring together the main exponents of the sector around a full program that combines more than 200 presentations, exhibitions of electrolyzers, hydrogen fuel cells, trucks, buses and cars with meetings of all kinds in which to establish alliances and learn about the latest and most innovative projects.
The initiative is promoted by the European Commission, Hydrogen Europe (the European association whose more than 400 members represent the interests of industry, territories and their stakeholders) and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, a public-private partnership that supports research and innovation activities related to hydrogen technologies in Europe.
The Director General for Industrial Promotion and Innovation of the Government of Aragon, Mar Paños, will visit the stand where the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation will show the strength of the 90 companies and organisations that currently make up its Board of Trustees and its main projects, among which is the Ebro Hydrogen Corridor that Aragon, the Basque Country, Catalonia and Navarre, together with the private initiative SHYNE, are promoting, and with which a working meeting is scheduled to be held.
European Hydrogen Week includes a number of parallel activities in which Aragon will also take part. For example, the presentation of the hydrogen strategy of the Working Community of the Pyrenees (CTP), the meeting of the board of directors of the Hydrogen Europe Regional Pillar initiative in which Aragon represents all the European regions, and the plenary session of the S3 Hydrogen Valleys Partnership smart specialisation platform, which our region is leading together with Normandy, Auvergne Rhone-Alpes and the North of Holland.
In this regard, it should be recalled that the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation is the only entity working in six different valleys funded by the European Union and the Spanish entity that has been awarded more projects of the main European funding program for hydrogen, which further endorses the leadership of Aragon in the field.
