HyAcademy: Europe’s bold step toward hydrogen education with FHa participation
Talent and Education: Essential Pillars for the Clean Hydrogen Transition
The transition toward a sustainable energy model requires highly skilled professionals in hydrogen technologies, a strategic sector for Europe’s decarbonization. In this framework, HyAcademy (The European Hydrogen Academy) has emerged—an international project funded by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, UK Research and Innovation, and the Swiss Confederation.
This ambitious ecosystem aims to democratize access to technical knowledge, striving to create the largest educational network in Europe focused on fuel cells and hydrogen. With over 379 schools and 50 universities already involved, HyAcademy proves that the energy future begins in the classroom.
An Innovative and Accessible Educational Ecosystem
HyAcademy has developed a comprehensive platform designed for educators, students, and industry professionals, highlighting three main pillars:
-
Free Resource Library: Open access to technical books, presentations, and specialized videos.
-
Full Value Chain Content: Covering everything from H2 production and storage to safety and end-use applications.
-
Cutting-edge Digital Tools: Modern teaching methods tailored to the current needs of the hydrogen industry.
Toward the Net-Zero Hydrogen Academy
The project’s vision goes further, laying the groundwork for the future Net-Zero Hydrogen Academy. This permanent training platform aims to reach more than 100,000 users across Europe, providing high-quality content accessible from any geographic location.
The Role of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation
As an active partner in the consortium, the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation plays a key role in the communication strategy and engagement with the educational community. Our work focuses on:
-
Developing didactic materials based on our long-standing technical expertise.
-
Connecting educational centers with the real-world needs of the industry.
