From Life Cycle Analysis to Eco-Design: EHEC 2024 Explores SH2E & eGHOST Projects

EHEC is organised by the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) and brings together experts, researchers and industry leaders in the field of hydrogen, providing a platform to share the latest advances, innovations and developments in hydrogen-based technologies. Focused on promoting sustainable and clean energy solutions, AeH2 aims to play a crucial role in advancing the adoption of hydrogen as a clean energy source across Europe and the world.

Our SH2E and eGHOST projects have much to contribute to this event. That is why the Consortium of both projects has programmed a parallel session with the aim of showing the evolution and results of both projects, which come to an end in the first half of this year.

The Symposium of both projects will take place on 7 March.

In the morning, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., the SH2E project will be presented.

SH2E will develop and demonstrate specific guidelines for environmental (LCA), economic (LEC) and social (ECVS) life cycle assessment and benchmarking of SHP systems, while addressing their consistency.

Javier Doufur from IMDEA Energy Spain will open and close the day. Professor at Rey Juan Carlos University. Research Professor and Head of the Systems Analysis Unit of IMDEA Energy Institute (Spain). Currently, he is Deputy. Leader of the Cross-Cutting Activities Technical Committee of Hydrogen Europe Research.

This will be followed by the presentations of the other members of the Consortium:
