Catalina project opens its information points in Aragon

The ambitious Catalina Project, a pioneering initiative in the production of green hydrogen in Aragon, has taken a significant step forward by inaugurating its Information Points within the framework of the 1st Aragon Hydrogen Week. These spaces, designed to bring the project closer to the public, offer detailed information on the benefits and impact of this innovative initiative.

What is the Catalina Project?

The Catalina Project seeks to position Aragon as a benchmark in the production of green hydrogen, a clean and sustainable fuel. The initiative involves the construction of a green hydrogen production plant in the town of Andorra, Teruel, using renewable energies. This project will not only boost the local economy, but will also contribute to decarbonisation and the fight against climate change.

Information Points: an approach to citizens

The Catalina Project Information Points are interactive spaces where visitors can learn first-hand about the details of the project. Through information panels, audiovisual material and the attention of specialised staff, citizens can resolve their doubts and understand the importance of this initiative for the future of Aragon.

From 12 March until mid-June, the information point will tour all the municipalities where the Catalina project will be implemented, so that all residents can learn first-hand about the project, its benefits for the territory and what the hydrogen economy means for this region. In addition, visits will be organised for educational centres in the area as a way of generating interest in the hydrogen industry and awakening vocations at an early age in a sector with high future employability in the region.
