Our R + D projects at the Ibero-American Congress on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells 2023.
From October 25 to 27 in Cartagena, took place the Iberoamerican Congress of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells IBERCONAPPICE 2023, organized by the Spanish Association of Fuel Cells, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
On behalf of Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa), Lidia Martínez Izquierdo, R&D technician at FHa, developed the session dedicated to hydrogen and presented the work being done in 4 of the projects carried out in the R&D department of FHa.
The projects highlighted at the congress were:
GreenLifTech, which has as its main challenge to purify waste streams by building a modular platform that employs advanced bio-inspired adsorbents for physical adsorption of gaseous contaminants followed by membrane technology for purification of the final gaseous stream;
BossTech, which addresses the preliminary evaluation of the direct conversion process of biogas to electricity and heat using SOFC;
4AirCraft, which focuses on the development of a cascade reactor based on the rational design of catalysts and their supports thus enabling the potential of CO2 and renewable H2 to be harnessed for the production of alternative synthetic aviation fuels; and,
MefHySto, where work was carried out on a thermal conductivity measurement system for AB metal hydride.
