Aragon Hydrogen Foundation drives youth employment in Huesca

Green hydrogen is not just the future of energy in Spain; it is a present-day job opportunity in Aragon. During the recent Princess of Girona Foundation’s Talent Tour, held in collaboration with the Huesca City Council, the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa) solidified its position as the province’s industrial benchmark, drawing the interest of hundreds of young people seeking a professional purpose.

Speed Mentoring: Connecting Talent and Sustainability

In a dynamic speed mentoring format, Clara Estallo, Head of People, and Guillermo García Burguera, Consulting and Training Technician at the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation, offered a practical vision of how decarbonization is creating new employment niches. Their intervention stood out for its accessibility, successfully “engaging” attendees through real success stories currently being developed at our facilities in the Walqa Technology Park.

Why is hydrogen the answer for young talent?

Clara and Guillermo achieved an immediate connection with the young audience. In a direct and fast-paced setting, they addressed the concerns of a generation seeking both purpose and stability within sustainability.

During the event, FHa reaffirmed its commitment to the region, providing a comprehensive view of the entire hydrogen value chain. “It is not just about energy; it is the opportunity to lead a global change from Aragon,” they highlighted during the sessions.

The day led to a clear conclusion: the enthusiasm of the youth combined with the Foundation’s technical expertise is the perfect formula for the challenges of 2026.
