EastGate H2V: new renewable hydrogen valley in Aragon

The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation is launching EastGate H2V, an ambitious project that seeks to consolidate a Hydrogen Valley in the eastern part of the region, connecting the production, storage, distribution, and consumption of renewable hydrogen.

A Complete Ecosystem Based on Green Hydrogen

EastGate H2V is created with the goal of  developing a territorial ecosystem for renewable hydrogen that integrates the entire value chain: from production via electrolysis using renewable energy, to its application in industrial sectors, heavy mobility, or energy storage.

This project reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to the decarbonization of the economy, promoting sustainable development, technological innovation, and public-private collaboration.

Proprietary Tools for a Replicable Model

The Foundation will utilize its digital tool, HTP Too, developed in previous European projects, to assess the territory’s potential and design the valley efficiently, sustainably, and in a replicable manner. This platform facilitates the identification of key players, viability analysis, and technical monitoring of the project’s development.

A Consolidated Track Record in Hydrogen Valleys

With EastGate H2V, the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation continues to lead the implementation of hydrogen valleys in Europe, leveraging experience from initiatives like Green Hysland (Mallorca) and the Ebro Corridor, positioning itself as a benchmark in the design of clean and collaborative energy models.
