Aragon Hydrogen Foundation drives hydrogen valleys forward in Brussels
The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (AHF) has once again taken center stage in Europe’s hydrogen strategy by leading communications and moderating key sessions at the S3 Hydrogen Valleys Partnership General Assembly, held in Brussels in June 2025. The event brought together regional representatives, hydrogen experts, and institutional stakeholders from across Europe, cementing AHF’s role as a benchmark in the energy transition and the development of hydrogen valleys in Brussels.
During the Assembly, AHF not only led the communications working group but was also one of the four co-leading regions within the partnership. Teresa Villuendas, Valleys Coordinator at AHF, moderated the session presenting the European hydrogen valleys and showcased the progress of the communications group—highlighting Aragón’s leadership in disseminating and giving visibility to European hydrogen projects.
The day featured regional initiatives such as the small-scale hydrogen valley in Scotland and flagship projects like HySPARK (Poland), EASTGATEH2V (Slovakia), Hi2 Valley (Austria), and CyLH2Valley (Spain, Castilla y León). These projects demonstrate the growing momentum of hydrogen valleys as a driving force in Europe’s energy transition and the importance of territorial collaboration.
