V EDITION OF THE ARAGON HYDROGEN FOUNDATION AWARDS
The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation, with the aim of stimulating research at the highest level and promoting the study and knowledge of technologies related to the use of hydrogen as an energy vector, renewable energies and the decarbonisation of transport and the energy sector, has instituted, by decision of its Board of Trustees, the annual prizes for the best Doctoral Thesis, the best Master's Thesis and the best Bachelor's Thesis.
The objective of these prizes is to stimulate both research at the highest level and the study and knowledge of technologies related with the use of hydrogen as an energy vector, renewable energies. It should be noted that, in this edition, a positive value will be placed on the applicability and market orientation of the object of study in the works when issuing the final decision at the jury's tables. The works must be oriented towards a carbon-neutral future, given that hydrogen is one of the solutions for achieving this. Contextualisation within different industries, transport facilitation and renewable energy storage is key.

TARGET
All persons who have obtained a doctoral degree by defending their doctoral thesis, or obtained a master's degree or bachelor's degree, between 1 January 2024 and 29 December 2024, from a university in any of the scientific-technological areas related to the main objective of the Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon, may apply for these prizes. The work must be related to hydrogen technologies, renewable energies and the decarbonisation of transport and the energy sector.
PARTICIPATION FORM
The accompanying documentation for each application is as follows:
- Copy of the Doctoral Thesis, Master's Thesis or Bachelor's Thesis.
- Official certification from the university issuing the graduate, master's or doctoral degree, indicating the grade obtained, name of the director/s and members of the tribunal.
- Accreditation of whether it has any international award or mention.
- Author's affidavit guaranteeing that the work has not been awarded in other competitions and that it will not be eligible for other awards until this award is granted.
- Explanatory note explaining how the thesis or work falls within the technological areas indicated in section five and takes into account the concepts referred to in section six of these rules, signed by the author (only the DNI or passport number must be included) and by the director(s) or tutor(s) of the thesis or work.
- Participation form completed with personal contact information (name, surname(s), ID or passport number, nationality, e-mail and telephone number) in accordance with the model attached as an annex to these rules and a summary curriculum vitae of the candidate.
