III Edition of the Hydrogen Foundation 2022 Awards.
The Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon has announced the third edition of the awards for the best Doctoral Thesis, the best Master’s Thesis and the best Bachelor’s Thesis.
The objective of this initiative, held since 2020 by decision of its Board of Trustees, is to stimulate both research at the highest level and the promotion of the study and knowledge of technologies related to the use of hydrogen as an energy vector, renewable energies and the decarbonization of transport and the energy sector.
An initiative that is possible to carry out thanks to the support of the sponsors Redexis Foundation, IDOM and ERCROS. Entities that already gave their support in previous editions and that once again have joined the support of this award in favor of innovation.
Redexis Foundation, an entity that aims to expand the impact and enhance the sustainability, innovation and social work developed by Redexis, one of the main companies dedicated to the development and operation of natural gas transport and distribution infrastructures in Spain, awards the prize for the Best Doctoral Thesis valued at 2,000 €.
IDOM
Independent company that provides professional services of Consulting, Engineering and Architecture, united around a way of doing, common objectives at the service of its clients. IDOM awards the prize for the Best Master’s Thesis valued at 1,000 €.
ERCROS
Industrial group of centenary tradition diversified in three areas of activity: Chlorine Derivatives Division, Intermediate Chemicals Division and Pharmaceuticals Division. It maintains a leading position in the main markets in which it is present and exports almost half of its sales to more than 103 countries, mainly in the EU. ERCROS awards the Prize for the Best Final Degree Project valued at 800 €.
The awards will be extended to the director of the work or tutor, who will receive the corresponding diploma. This award to the director of the work or tutor is not associated with an economic amount.
All persons who have obtained the title of doctor defending their doctoral thesis, or obtained the title of master or degree, between January 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022, by a university in any of the scientific-technological areas related to the main objective of the Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon, may compete for these awards. The works must be related to hydrogen technologies, renewable energies and decarbonization of transport and the energy sector.
