Hydrogen in the automotive and aeronautics sector for a sustainable industry.
The event to disseminate the results of the project “Boosting Hydrogen Applications in the Automotive and Aeronautics Sector” took place on Friday, October 21, 2022.
The event was carried out by the Aragonese Aeronautical Association (AERA), the Aragon Automotive Cluster (CAAR), and the Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon (FHa).
At the beginning of the event, AERA presented the project, then FHa presented the hydrogen value chain and its current opportunities, as well as the results of the project. Inés Villa Martínez, General Director of AERA, presented the conclusions and next steps in the applications of the project.
Inés Villa, in her conclusions, emphasized that the technological knowledge of hydrogen should be promoted. She added that environmental sustainability is key and that the designs must be committed to a sustainable aeronautical and automotive industry, as well as being a reference in the future of mobility.
The session concluded with a visit to the Foundation’s facilities to learn about our projects. Our Trustee, Zoilo Ríos, was present and showed the hydrogen-powered car.
