The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa) is proud to celebrate an important recognition that underlines the commitment and vision of its trustees at the forefront of the decarbonisation of transport. Grupo Carreras, Repsol and Zoilo Ríos, key companies in the Aragonese and national business fabric, and members of our Foundation, have been awarded together with Evarm with the Innovation Award in the category of Best Business Initiative in the 2025 edition of the Green Gas Mobility Summit.
This prestigious prize, awarded by Gasnam-Neutral Transport, highlights the joint work of these entities in the promotion of clean energy solutions for the mobility sector, a fundamental pillar in the strategy of the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation to promote the energy transition.
Sustainable mobility with hydrogen
The recognised project is a pilot external mobility initiative to be developed in collaboration by Zoilo Ríos, EVARM and Carreras Grupo Logístico, with the strategic support of Repsol. The key to this proposal lies in the testing of a hybrid tractor unit, designed by EVARM, which integrates the use of renewable hydrogen and renewable diesel. This vehicle will undergo a rigorous testing period with real customers, starting on short routes and then extending to longer distance journeys, including destinations such as Barcelona and Madrid.
It should be noted that the technology used by EVARM in this hybrid truck has a solid base in a version that has achieved its second consecutive victory in the Mission 1000 category of the Dakar Rally, a division reserved specifically for vehicles powered by alternative energies, which demonstrates its reliability and potential.
For the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation, this award to our patrons not only represents a reason for celebration, but also reaffirms the relevance of collaboration between industry, technology and research to accelerate the decarbonisation of the logistics sector and mobility. Innovation and the use of clean fuels, such as renewable hydrogen, are decisive steps towards a more sustainable and efficient transport model.
