Aragon leads the global hydrogen future following success at EHEC 2026
The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation (FHa) has reaffirmed its position as an international benchmark during the European Hydrogen Energy Conference (EHEC) 2026.
With a proposal integrating applied research, cutting-edge engineering, and institutional cooperation, the Aragonese delegation has consolidated strategic alliances to accelerate industrial decarbonization across Europe.
Spain-Japan Strategic Alliance: The Aragon-JETRO Axis
Within the framework of the conference, a key meeting took place with the JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) delegation. This trade mission, comprising major corporations such as Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, and Asahi Kasei, aims to strengthen the hydrogen value chain between Spain and Japan.
The support of the Government of Aragon, through the General Directorate of Industrial Promotion, highlights the region’s role as a first-class logistical and technological hub in the global green hydrogen market.
Innovation and European Projects: From Theory to Industry
The Foundation’s technical team presented disruptive solutions that are setting the sector’s roadmap:
-
Hydrogen Valley Analysis: Presentation of the HTP Tool for the techno-economic feasibility of large-scale infrastructures.
-
Safety and Training: Virtual Reality models for safe plant operations, minimizing operational risks.
-
Applied R&D: Results from the CANDHy project on the European gas grid and degradation studies on alkaline stacks under the ENDURE protocol.
