The master in Hydrogen Technologies Information Session
The interuniversity master’s degree in Hydrogen Technologies is a great training initiative in which we participated together with
the Repsol-Petronor Group, and designed and supported by the universities Mondragon Unibertsitatea, the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the University of Zaragoza, together with other training and research centers.
Hydrogen is one of the energy carriers with the greatest potential to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions. According to a report by the Hydrogen Council, projects aimed at developing green hydrogen as a clean source of energy will add up to a global investment of more than 250 billion euros by 2030.
Following the European strategies around hydrogen technologies, this unprecedented collaboration of reference entities from the industrial, university and vocational training worlds has been created.
The master’s degree will be taught in four locations: Bilbao, Barcelona, Tarragona and Zaragoza.
Mostly in synchronous virtual mode: the sessions will be online, but there will be face-to-face visits to companies and face-to-face practices in laboratories.
The program has a very practical character: silumation packages, technical visits to companies, laboratory practices and a final master’s project applied to a real challenge of a company.
