VERTEGAS
Techno-economic viability study for the innovation regarding waste collection management and biogas revalorization generated in landfills and treatment waste installations
September 2017 - March 2018
SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES
The main objective of VERTEGAS is the tecno-economic viability study of the revalorization of waste in landfills. The biogas potential and its revalorization into other high value products, e.g. hydrogen is included. As case of study and within the frame of the project, it has been selected GRHUSA landfill in Huesca (Spain). Additionally, the reproducibility of the results of the project in other areas and installations is overcomed.
FOUNDATION ROLE
The Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon is leader of the project and coordinates all the activities.
